Budget sub woofer advice

Hi

I've just ordered a set of B and W 606 + Audiolab 6000a Play from Richer Sounds.

I feel like I am on a roll which has me considering a sub woofer to go along with it. I have already blown my budget so I am looking for recommendations for budget subs or something that might come up 2nd hand at a good price. Willing to pay 300GBP approx.

My room is 28ft * 14ft... I'd be using it exclusively for music.

look at Bk electronics they have a few in that range, they used to make subwoofers for rel back in the day so they have air of familiarity about them

Buy cheap, buy twice. I'd save up for a few months and get the right sub, rather than take a punt. REL T5 or a KEF T2 would be my shortlist.

If your other gear hasn't arrived, surely it's crazy to be thinking about tinkering with a sound you haven't yet heard? And if you think you'll need a sub, that suggests you think the speakers might not be up to the job, in which case maybe consider swapping if the retailer is amenable?
