Question Budget compact DAC - recommendations?

Hello

Is there a good budget compact DAC I should consider for linking digital audio out of incoming LG C5 to my analogue Logitech 2:1 speaker system?

Preferable with minimal latency +/- remote volume control (as uncertain whether digital optical volume level can be controlled by TV remote)

Would try and get a CYP AU-D3 from somewhere. But you'll need your Logitech to control the volume (unless the TV can control the digital volume).

Otherwise, Topping E30II Lite ... but check it would control the volume out (I think it does, but all care, no responsbility).

It does seem like there is no way to control the optical digital volume of C5 with tv remote (and my Logitech system doesn't have remote control), so only option is remote controlled volume via DAC...

Could eArc output be a workaround for this?

I already have my beefy Logitech Z623 2:1 system which I really like & and want to continue with (hence the original post)...
