Blu-ray Player

Hi

I am looking for a replacement for a Playstation 3 regarding blu-ray play back; my PS3 has developed a drive fault just over a year since purchase and Sony want to charge me £99 to get it repaired.

I am very reluctant to get it repaired due to the principle of owning it for little more than a year and Sony's reluctance to help, i am thinking of using that £99 towards a stand alone blu-ray player but would like some suggestions as to which players are at roughly the £150 margin with comparable or better picture and sound than the PS3.

Any help will be appreciated and if possible just because i want to cut off my nose to spite my face no Sony models

Ok....so the Sony S360 is not an option for you then!

Look at the Pioneer BD60, LG BD370 & Samsung BDP3600. They're all very good players.

I think he meant the Panasonic BD60...

Either that or Bigboss has got an exclusive and pioneer has merged with panasonic instead of sharp.
