Anyone tried one of these (about £20) ? - I picked one up while waiting for kids to finish ten-pin bowling or something.
It's a blu-ray with a couple of stray unshaved hairs on it - but also has test signals, patterns, audio samples of Dolby True HD, DTS-HD 5.1, 7,1, LPCM stereo, and a demo of full HD vision etc.
However, the test audio for 7.1 sound thought my surrounds were rears (and vice-versa) - even though my same surrounds played correctly on the 5.1 test audio. Having now cleaned my blu-ray and set up the picture, will take back to John Lewis for a refund - I'm sure the cashier will understand the technical fault with the disc
