Blacklist of sellers

Good day to you, dear regulars. I tried but not succeeded in finding an appropriate thread for my message, so I decided to make one. I was deceived by a bad seller and I want to share the story.

I have purchased five vinyl records from a German DJ, his name is Dietrich Thilo, I paid 250 euros for them. He promised to send vinyls on the 12th February. From 12 to 25 February, he disappeared and did not respond to me. I filed a complaint to PayPal, and they blocked his purse. The very next day he contacted me and said he sent the package. Then he asked to withdraw the complaint, which i did, so that he could use the money.

I bought all the records in condition that stated MINT (never been played).

Two records came all scratched (Vlad Caia - Swan Lake & Lazăr Cezar - Din Gând În Când EP) making it impossible to listen to the records. I wrote the seller about this. He agreed to return the money on March 14th. Afterwards, every time under different pretexts, he promised to pay three times but never did it. On April 1st, he wrote that he would not send me money until I send back his vinyls.

Just a couple days ago, I received a message from another buyer lupoidstein. lupoidstein was also deceived by him, never sending him any records at all.

Don't be another one of his victims.

P.S. I'm a new guy here, and i'm sorry if this post belongs to another place, nothing like this was mentioned in rules, but I feel the need to spread the word and warn people. I'd highly appreciate if someone suggests a site where I could leave a complaint. Thank you.

There are possibilities to conturn this. For example, you can name his username or his different nicknames. This is not going under 186 or 187 stgb ; but if you quote his full name there, and he discovers it, and it's not true, you will have problems (and the What Hi-Fi's moderator team too). And even if it is true, some skilled lawyer could return this post against you.

Another thing that is making me doubting, is the fact that you subscribed to this forum specially to post about this person. This "modus operandi" is always very shady. It's completely possible that you are in some fight with him about different matters and try to harm him through actions that will be bad for his business. It would be the best you erase your post IMHO.

At least, and for the moment, I didn't read a review on him in the different LP-Trading groups on Facebook and nothing on the hifi-forum.de too.

Posting on the forums was my last resort, 2 months of fighting over these records pushed me to the limit. And you know what? It worked. He agreed to give a refund after seeing me spreading the word. In the end of the day, HE was the one afraid to be exposed. Thank you for not removing my complaint.

This is the last message, and it's only left because I somehow don't have access to delete it. If a moderator comes across - be kind and remove it.

And I DO think you need a blacklist here, guys, cause separate reports are impossible to find.
