I currently bi-wire from my rotel amp to my speakers using 2 banana plugs out of amp to 4 plugs into each speaker. If i changed to 4 banana plugs out of amp and used speaker setting a+b will i notice the difference.

I agree - I wouldn't waste the time bothering to rewire, as the sockets will be connected internally at the a+b switch, so you won't gain anything.
