hi i am after buying the ascend acoustics sierra 2s for the 3 main fronts with ribbon upgrade i would like to know what would be the best rears to use with the sierra 2s in you opinon i want the perfect partner? also i want the perfect amp to do 11.2 with latest future specs i am deciding btween marants 7010 or denon x6200w would they be a great match for the speakers or can anybody recommend a better amp want very best sound quality for what amp can do for speakers? also want to add emotiva xpa3 or marantz pm6005 for additional pre outs so i can run the fronts and centre from the amp what would be better or what do people recommend ? also what speaker cable do people recommend i want it to enhance what the speakers are capable of doing i want 100% performance from them? also would 2 hsu vtf 3 mk5 or ryhmik fv15hp be the better performer for this setup or any other sub? also what rca subwoofer cable would you use for this setup? also i want 4 dolby atmos height speakers that you mount high up on the wall next to the ceiling what do people recommend for this setup? would the htm 200se be good height speakers or svs primes even alsoo need additional back surrounds would the htm 200se be good for this duty i watch 60% movies 30% music 10% games the size of my room 16 feet wide by 8 feet depth by 12 feet height i like pop techno rock r&b classical heavy metal and jazz hip hop i have 8500$ to 10,000$ to spend? oor could anybody recommend another complete setup that would blow this setup out of the water for the same price thanks?

Had the excellent Marantz Sr7007 and was going to buy the 7010, but the dealer convinced me that the Denon was worth the extra. Very glad I listened and is outstanding with movies, netflix DD and music. The bass on Bob Marley's Legend, BluRay audio master DTS, has amazing definition. SACD bitstream activates the DSD pure direct mode even without DenonLink and the iphone/ipad apps are excellent. The latest Audessey 8 point set up has proved its worth. My wife also loves it and doesn't whinge about my prefered volume levels! Built in Japan and has a quality toroidal transformer, you can see where the money goes. Using 7 channels, but plan to add 2 atmos/dts.X speakers soon. Hope this helps.

Guessing you're on the same side of the Atlantic as me (I'm in Texas).
XPA3, I believe, is no longer in production, but you can probably pick up a used one. Great, they say, for front left, right and center, 300 Watts per channel, from memory. I pair that with a Yamaha RX-A3050 or a similar 11.2 decoding receiver. Your ears, your choice. Then the world is your oyster as far as speakers go. Audition fronts for stereo service first and foremost, then add surround as you budget allows. You can always add extra surrounds later.
