Hi all

I'm desperate to get into HD movies for my new Pioneer PDPLX508D, I'm thinking of waiting for the Denon blue ray player or possibly longer as after reading some of the posts on the rest of the forum it seems blue ray is not without it's teething problems.

With this in mind what is the best HD-DVD player out there?

I do not mind having different formats and multiple pieces of equipment.

Many thanks

The best machine would be the XE1. Can be upgraded to multi region for SD DVDs as well. Great bit of kit, just a shame studios decided that hd dvd wasnt the way to go. Still there are a lot of discs still out there for your viewing pleasure.

Excuse my ignorance but which manufacturer is the EX-1 or is it XE-1 from?

Thanks

PS3 it'll play anything Blu Ray thrown at it, as well as that little bonus of being a games console lol

Blu-ray teething problems? What are they then? Just bought a Panasonic BD30 and it's great.
