Hi all,

Forgive me for what is probably a really stupid question but I'm trying to connect my ampli to my speakers (never done anything like this ever before...) but I can't figure out how to plug them in!

The speakers and the ampli have "banana/binding posts" (or that's what was on the specs) and I've got a cable with banana plugs at both ends. My problem is that the plugs do not really seem to fit into the posts, and the user manuals seem to explain how to connect the wires by binding them but do not mention anything about banana plugs. Am I missing something? Should I have bought a female post for the speakers and the ampli?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

If it can help these are the links to the speakers and ampli:

Have the binding posts got little plastic bungs in them (which you need to remove to push in the banana plugs)?

And once youve removed them screw the cap back on a little and push the banana plug in and then tighten the cap. You may need to give it a good push. My Nad took a fair bit of force to get the plug in all the way.
