I am looking into my first av purchase and know that room is rather tight in my tv unit.

Would be grateful for dimensions to be explained...notably the depth of units.

Does the depth include the speaker inputs on the rear of the home cinema av, and likewise does the depth include the front of the unit...or extend outwards to include the volume button.

Hope this makes sense

Yours space constrained and looking at sawing a shelf out!

anyone with a tape measure out there...tell me the depth of your av unit (excluding/ including controls and rear plug sockets) I can then compare to WHF measures

(subtle bump!)

Alright Gavin,

From experience I have found that the depth figure given does include the volume control etc so it is overall depth. However, you would need to allow for the size of Speaker Plugs or Interconnect plugs along with the bending limits of the cable. This can add a couple of inches at least overall.
