Audeze's US base was robbed on Saturday - $250,000 worth of their headphones were stolen.

Here's a message from the company:

"You should be highly suspicious if anyone other than an Authorized Audeze dealer offers you Audeze headphones for sale at a reduced price. We do not allow our dealers to sell via Amazon, eBay, Craigslist etc., so deals on these sites should be researched before you purchase. You should also be very concerned if their headphones do not have a serial number, or the seller refuses to give you the serial number before purchase. All Audeze headphones have a serial number on the inside of the pin block. We will soon publish a list of all stolen products’ serial numbers"

Those serial numbers are shortly to be published on Audeze.com, where you can also find a support email address to contact if you have any questions - or if you spot any dodgy deals. Audeze is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the thieves...

Thanks to the What Hi-Fi team for letting me post this.
