Are all CD players really equal?

I must confess my cardinal sin for buying expensive USB cable from *Chord and their speaker wiring for networking the walled terminal plugs in my lounge setup and also got lengths of AudioQuest cabling but these days, I can get the same quality for much less on AliExpress! 🙂

*Chord speaker cables have extra layers of insulation, which are ideal for long lengths.

I'm the same, used to get Chord cabling, now into Audioquest because I was happy with their HDMI cables, and then their optical and RCA ones, and also due to easier availability.

I know it may be all placebo etc etc, but it just gives me a warm fuzzy feeling without emptying the wallet.

The whole idea that they were all equal in the first place is clearly wrong.

Opinion should be based on some fragment of reality. Typing in block capitals isn't a good look when you can't back up what you say.

Don't tell me, all CD players sound the same because they've got DACs in them, and all DACs sound the same....
