Apple AirPlay not showing on devices??

Hi everyone a rather annoying problem... Both my iPad and iPhone 4 have stopped displaying the airplay icon. And despite switching on and off my devices it makes no difference. Starting to get a little frustrated now... Help please... Looked on the apple help forums and could not find a way of solving this problem.

Try changing the WiFi channel on your router under WiFi settings. I had the same problem so switched to ch10 and it now works much better, although not 100%. I believe Airplay works much better when using Apples own router.

Managed to get it sorted by going through all the usual wifi apple settings. Thanks for the reply though!!
