Anyone got a set of speakers they would recommend with sony str-da2400es

Hi all,

At present mt set up consists of Pioneer PDP-436xde screen, Sony STR-DA2400ES, Sony BDP-S760, Humax freesat HD and BT vision. My speakers are Bose acoustimass AM10's which i don't think are particularly well matched with the Sony AV receiever which i bought a couple of years ago.

I have read many threads in this forums, but can't find any where someone actually raves about a 5.1 set of speakers that work well with the amp. It is all very well reading the magazine recommendations for speaker packages, but do they work well with my receiver.

I have in mind the B&W mt25 or mt30, but would entertain any style speaker package up to £1500.

Anyone want to recommend any package. I would be really interested in your thoughts.

As an owner of the MT30 system, I can state it's very good. It goes loud without breaking sweat, easy on the eye, comes with chrome finish table-top stands and colour-coded wall mounts.

Everything the style conscious movie fan could ask for for the money, and sounds great with music DVDs/BDs. Also, if you're able to take a trip up Tottenham Court Rd, it's available with a tasty chunk off the RRP. (That last point goes for pretty much any electrical item though).

But, I've not heard them with your amp and I don't use them for listening to stereo music.
