Anybody got a NAD D3045

Interested to hear from anyone who's got a NAD D 3045 or heard / compared one at a Demo, thinking about getting one and hoping it'd be an upgrade from my Denon M39 Dab which is moving to another room.

Have heard some comments in the past though saying they're not quite so "musical" as the 3020.

Hi, I have heard some 10 -12years ago Nad D3020. It was presented as "digital breakthrough" but I was not impressed at all. I am sure "classic" amp like Rega Brio sounds better, has more emotions, energy and it is speaking to me. I have Brio mk6 at home some 6 years, very happy with him. If you need digital, than new Arcam A5+ or Audiolab 6000mk2 are better options than this old Nad D3045 for sure. If you like sound signature of your Denon M39Dab, than I recommend to look on some Marantz or Denon with streaming and DAC, like Marantz N7000. Today possible to buy for some 699£. This is very good grown up amplifier, class leader. My friend use it with Monitor Audio Bronze 500 speakers and Project turntable in quite bug room. It sounds very good. BR.

If the Rega or Cyrus One had 12v trigger in, they'd be my 1st choice as I could set up it as one button pre-set for the Mrs to turn the radio on but unfortunately they don't ... I also have a size limitation of 24cm x 40cm, currently the Denon is under 24cm wide so the shelf is running front to back in a corner but I could rotate it if it was wider but would need to stay within the same max sizes unfortunately.
