Well just got back from my first Record Fair, there were about 4/5 stall holders, sadly no bargain bins which I was surprised about!

One stall holder had lots of new sealed MFSL & Music On Vinyl LPs for £10 each........bargain!

Picked up

INXS - X MFSL 180g remaster, beautiful packaging

Sade - Promise Music on Vinyl 180g remaster, nice packaging

The Cult - Love

The Nephilim - The Nephilim

Went to 7 charity shops today, one is renowned for it's vinyl stock, and I came home with nothing.

Anything good was out of my price range, including Are You Experienced by Hendrix at £75.

Some charity shops have really turned on to the vinyl resurgence and marked up ,

can't blame them but it's hard on us.

Not today, but yesterday.

Sad news, my local vinyl store in Wantage, new and predominantly second hand, is closing at the end of August. Visit while you can.

Graffiti On The Train, Stereophonics.

Unfortunately, my Boards Of Canada and Queens Of The Stone Age turned up damaged! Seems ill have to wait a little longer for these while they're replaced...

I have the CD which I've been listening to - any albums I really like I buy on vinyl too. At the moment, I still prefer Music Has The Right To Children and Geogaddi, but there's more time for it to grow on me - the other two did!

on vinyl?

I have a used (but excellent condition) copy of it, and a still sealed Geogaddi. Most of my listening is via CD/Napster etc at the moment - when I have room to add a hi-fi system and my turntable gets set up, then I'll be indulging in a lot more vinyl listening! Special occasions though - I don't want to wear them out too quickly :)

I bought it on CD when it came out, for some reason I thought electronic music would sound better on CD.

Wish I'd bought the vinyl, as it's going for silly money these days.
