Car boot sale this morning, and got 3 albums for £4, very happy with one of them, and they're all in great condition. I wish I'd got there a little earlier, as it seems the seller had sold quite alot before I got there, and he had some good stuff.

Sugarcubes - Life's Too Good

Sugarcubes - Here Today, Tomorrow Next Week

Tears For Fears - The Hurting

Good choice, Love the Hurting I have a good copy, Lifes to Good has been on my radar for a long time!

I'm not a big fan of TFF, but The Hurting has some great tracks, and my old copy was about f****d.

I'd been considering an ebay purchase of "Life's Too Good", so as soon as I spotted it while some other guys were looking through the records, I just said excuse me, and pulled it out double quick.

Yes TFF dont interest me, Its the only TFF album I have soley just because of the quality of the music - Pale Shelter, Change, Memories Fade and of course Mad Worlld (IMHO never bettered)

By special request, Diverse Vinyl agreed to do their roadshow thing at my local Audio T...on my birthday !!!

Ok, I think it was a coincidence, but very pleased that they brought vinyl heaven to this barren wasteland of vinyl-impoverished SE England 🙂

That's the only one I own out of your list. We all have a band that we probably shouldn't like, but we do anyway, and A-ha are my band.

I also have "Scoundrel Days" and "Headlines and Deadlines", but undoubtedly, "Hunting High and Low" is the best.

There you go, I said it, and I'm not at all embarrassed.

Dire Straits on the other hand.........................

I did my local charity shop tour as I do every couple of weeks or so and I usually find something.

What catched my eye today was an excellent condition (vinyl and tripple gatefold) copy of Yellowbrick Road, with original inner sleeves. - I don't even like EJ but thought ... Hey, this must be rare in this condition, could this be the golden moment I was waiting for? - Is it time to retire and think about what sunny far flung countries I will visit with the proceeds. Perhaps I'll pay off my brothers mortgage whilst I'm at it, probably just small change in the greater scheme.

Well, had a quick look on the bay and they go for about two quid average 🙂

At least it only cost me £1.50.

The only other one I got today was an Elvis one. Not at home at the mo and forgot which one it is.

regards
