Since my shiny new on-order surround receiver apparently won't do DAB when it arrives, but I do have a freeview box, is there any point in looking at a DAB radio/tuner for static use - are there lots more stations around or are most of them already available on freeview?
And what's happened to add on DAB tuners? I'm sure I saw a number of reasonably inexpensive ones around a year or two back, but a quick scan of the local non-specialist chain stores that used to have them now shows lots of standalone DAB radios/clock radios/mini systems, but no separate tuners (admittedly, no separate amps/CD players/speakers either).
