Advice please on Speakers for an Audion Silver Night Valve Amplifier

Hi

I have an Audion Silver Night Triode Linear Valve Amplifer, attached to a CD source. Could someone please recommend speakers I should use with it. I am not a Hi-Fi techy so English replies please! Thanks

Audion use Revolvers at the shows, so that would be a good place to start.

No mention of budget here....however.....I'm using a pair of Tannoy Sterlings on my quad amps......love em. Some of the larger Tannoys have a distinct advantage over many other speakers when connected to relatively low powered valve amps.......they have very good sensitivity figures so give a very decent volume for modest power. The smaller (less expensive) models in the range compare favourably with any other brand but dont have particularly good (about averege) sensitivity specs. IMO valves and Tannoys go together very well.
