Thanks very much, on both counts. I have to press 'F5' even when I open up the 'View latest comments' page. It must be a PC problem as I'm having some other issues with other sites.

On first viewing: Ain't keen! I've seem to have lost around 200 posts for starters (two days ago 7,035). For some unknown reason baby penguin is in the avatar; text too small; editing is limited, and so on and so forth and suchlike.

I might get used to this, but I certainly feel the new forum is far far to messy, cluttered, not very nice :-(
As we keep saying (and people seem to be overlooking), you're not going to have to get used to it - this is just the raw, beta phase of a new Forum, to which many fixes will be applied, ASAP.
Please keep the feedback coming, in the knowledge that we're considering all your comments. 🙂

Strangely though, about a year ago - can't remember who's thread it was - Clare mentioned there could be a future plan for charging.
