Hi All,

I have been having a problem with getting 3d settings right on my LG 47 INCH LED TV RIGHT FOR OPTIMUM 3D VIEWING.

i AM NOT GETTING THAT 3D EFFECT WHEREBY OBJECTS TEND TO COME OUT OF THE SCREEN. Recently watched movies like gi joe 2 and irobot both in 3d but couldnt get the settings to give me that '' coming out of screen effect''

Could any one Assist/Guide me on this.

Thanks in Advance.

SAMEER.

you may find that the 3d doesn't come out of the screen because the film wasn't filmed that way. Lots of 3d films give you 3d depth into the screen rather than out of the screen. I haven't seen these so I'm not sure but certainly underworld 3d has both, but 90% of the film is depth into rather than out of the screen

hope that helps

Hi there

3D is a bit of a touchy subject some like it some dont .I personally think when it's done right it's great.you mentioned I Robot in your post that film is a great example of a shameless cash in .the 3D on that film was terrible.

if you want a good 3D experience go for avatar,Hugo ,most animated films ,Dread, the hobbit ,transformers 3 just to name a few .check out the 3d reviews of most films on blu ray.com

many 3D films are post converted after production just to get more cash out of us .but to be honest I don't mind I like it.also to improve your 3D viewing make the room dark as possible .

47 inches might be a tad on the small side to give you a real 3D experience tho.
