Hi guys and gals -

About a month ago I posted a question close to this about some speakers. Things have changed since then and now i have a little more money to play with and this has opened up a intresting option.

My original plan was to simply buy some CM8/9/kefs and wait a few months then upgrade my amp. Now im wondering is I need an amp at all....becasue im now looking at these....

http://www.dynaudio.com/int/home_loudspeaker_systems/xeo/xeo5.php

Other than the fact I like the clean look of these, it also solves a few problems in the respect that I wont have to worry about buying a dedicated amp. So i suppose im asking, would these be a good idea over a standard amp/speaker option?

cheers!

Definitely a good idea. The Dynaudios are a great solution.

You might want to investigate other active speakers as well.

Have a look at the Active Speaker thread on here. There's a lot of info there.
