Hello lovely people :)
Hope you are all doing ok.
I do have a budget of £1500 (max £2000) for a complete stereo system.
I have invested heavily into digital downloads and ripped all my CD's some time ago so I don't need CD player and I don't play vinyl.
atm I have Macbook and Sennheiser open back headphones, no speakers apart from some bluetooth/wireless speakers and soundbar for tv.
The room is 14.3ft x 15ft, concrete carpeted floor, plaster boards all around, regular furnishing.
I listen classical, jazz, some electronic.
What are your suggestions, please?

Hi Stephan, Welcome to the forum.
Do want a separate amp and speakers or do you just want a set of speakers with built in amplifiers to save on box count? Also, are you comfortable plugging in your mac to listen or do you need wireless connectivity to the speakers?

Hello :)
I have a desk in the same room (laptop + external monitor) so could probably use the laptop as a source. I would prefer wired connection between laptop and the rest of the system. Laptop is 6 meters away from where I want the stereo (I would need 6 meters long cable) so USB cable isn't probably good solution as it is limited to 3 meters? I'd like to be able to connect TV to a new stereo too.
