Hi all, I'm looking at getting a new LED TV in the next few months, and have narrowed it down to these 3 tv, i had a quick look at the today in John Lewis's just to see them what they looked like. I see that only the Samsung plays mkv files. I've also seen that Sony & Panasonic are bringing there 2011 ranges out soon, can't decided whether to wait or get a bargain. The 3 are: Samsung UE32C6000 or 6510 Panasonic TX-L32D28BP Sony KDL-32EX713 I'm got sky HD so I will mainly be using this to watch tv, I don't currently have a blu-ray. Has anyone got either of these and what are your experiences. Thanks.

I have a 46EX713, excellent, very pleased with it. However there have been quality control problems with Sony backlighting so make sure you buy from a supplier with good customer service just in case. I bought mine from John Lewis with a 5 year warranty.

I've got the UE32C6510 (white) for my bedroom & it's an excellent TV. Even the Panasonic D28 is very very good when I saw it from my friend's place. I haven't done a side by side comparison to comment on which has a better picture quality, but in the aesthetics department, Samsung won hands down for me. Sony EX713 is also a very good TV, but I haven't been that impressed with SD picture quality.

It's expected that with every year, newer TVs should be better (though not always the case). Whether to pay a higher cost for the newer model or grab a bargain 2010 model , only you can decide that.

I in the end got a Samsung UE32C6620 as it was going cheap in Richer Sounds clearance. Picking up tomorrow, the brown surround wasn't as bad as i thought.

Have saved enough to get an iPad2 :D
