Year old 42 inch pana with vertical line problem!!!

Hi ! I have had my pana 42 inch plasma for a year and two weeks , it has recently developed coloured vertical lines in the centre of the screen. Luckily I have a 5 yr warranty with it and I am awaiting help!! Does anyone have any idea what this could be and if it is terminal??... The lines are there regardless of what input is selected ..Thanks
