Yamaha 757 to Onkyo 606 or 875

Hi

I currently have a yamaha 757 running a monitor audio R90-AV12 package with a ps3 and an SP50L7HX.

I am looking to upgrade to a new amp to make best use of the new HD audio available through the ps3.

I have not hered HD audio yet. Is it really worth an upgrade?

If so is it best to go for a Onkyo 606 or a nice dicounted 875. (even though its still nearly twice the price of the 606)

I know i need to go get a demo but just wanted to get some opinions. Is the 875 worth the extra over the 606 and would the 606 be a worthy upgrade to my 757?

the 875 is in a different league in my opinion - the 606 is a great budget receiver but the 875 is better in everyway and a bargain with the discounts. you can get 875 for 600 so not quite double
