XLR to RCA on Primare i32 phono stage

Would I get any gains from using an XLR 5 din to 2 RCA cable.

My Primare i32 amp has XLR sockets but the matching phono stage r32 only has RCA which I find strange or don't Primare advocate such a thing ?

i would like to try it but don't want to waste my money on a cable ?

If it is XLR to RCA (Or vice versa) then it will always remain unbalanced, so will make no difference.

Seconded. I only used XLR on my pre amp / power amp combo. You would see no gains in your particular circumstances.
