will it be too bright

hi i have been offered a pair jamo concert 8 loudspekers for £300 by a workmate, who has bought a pair quad electrostatics-- he will also give me 2x10 metres dnm solid core speaker cables if buy them they will be driven by a naim 250 power amp but i read that this could be to bright sounding----any thoughts on this are welcome

If you work with him can you not get them home for a night or two?

yes.. its just i have heard them in his system and really did like the sound and i said i would pay him on monday , oh well i will just buy them at the price as he is almost giving them to me plus speaker cables --- i just thought there might have been a naim owner who also used these jamo concert 8 speakers in there hifi
