Will a freesat box work with a PVR?

Will a humax 1000s work with a Pure Avalon 1tb dual hard drive recorder using a Sky aerial instead of normal TV aerial. If so, how and what are the pros / cons?

the humax hdr1000s has a hard drive,and it takes the same 2 sat feeds from the dish.

Its comparatively very expensive and not easily installed by all service companies. You will get best picture quality with high digitization. The video on demand is well below average. If you implement, you will never go to the out of space any more. It is sleek and intuitive.
