Cabinets for the entry level SCM models used to be made in China, but I don't know if that's still true or not.thats why I mention ATC, they make their own drivers, tweeters and cross overs and AFAIK the crossover components are UK sourced caps, etc.
Bear in mind the original question said up to £1,000. Sadly Harbeth’s cheapest are now 2.5 times that much. 😱Did anyone say Harbeth yet?
