Which UHD player?

I think I contemplated buying one of these but do occasionally like to play my SACD multichannel discs downstairs, hence the Sony.

Yes, that is a bit of a shame it doesn't have SACD. Same here, wasn't an issue for me, I do have an old Denon DVD player with SACD and does the job.😀

I believe when Oppo shut the blu ray business, its engineers moved to Reavon / Magnetar. The UI is very similar.

That's true. But, as you don't need a Universal Disc Player, irrelevant.

Thanks. Yes, if it was few years ago when I was still buying discs of almost all the good films, I would've gone for it. But now I'll only buy few discs.

Thanks all! I received a 20% discount voucher from eBay today, which brought down price of the Panasonic UB820 player to £279.20. RS price beat it by £10, so I got it for £269.20! Placed the order today.
