Hi I have an amplifier with 8 speaker outputs on the back, HF/LF Right and HF/LF Left. If im not bi wiring my speakers which ones do I use? (its an old A400X that will one day get replaced but in the meantime I don't want to blow up my new CM8's :))

The other question of course is should I bi wire.....if it's not going to make alot of difference I probably wouldnt bother.

Thanks

The terminals are just in parallel so are the same.

From a totally theoretical point the lower LF ones are nearer the PCB and so offer a few milliohms less series resistance.

And should you bi-wire ? Only you by listening can answer that.

oh, wow, so literally just another set of terminals that are directly connected to each other.....I assumed the HF and LF would have some sort of stuff behind......but of course, then how could it ever work with non bi-wire speakers.

Thanks for the response.
