My TX-NR636 died and I'm considering getting the Denon AVR-X3800H. What's the best place to purchase one? Bestbuy and Amazon have it for the full MSRP.

sorry I didn't know What HiFi was primarily UK based. Is there a different forum I should check that is US Based?

Check AVS forum (Canadian), stereophile or Reddit.

To answer your second question, the Denon 3800H will drive the Kef R11 well and perform well too, although it can benefit from better amplification. Depends on your budget obviously.
