Forum rules for everyone. I didn’t realise that bumping your own posts was against forum rules or veering of topic was a rule break. Why is bumping your own post a forum rule break? No one gains from it apart from a retailer. Surely that can’t be a rule break? We always veered of topic for many years too.

I think the core rules are pretty set in stone, and are hard to argue with. If there are significant changes, I'll make sure I flag it up.

It's common for forums to stop people keeping their own threads up towards the top when it's only them really participating. I'd suggest that if you think any of the rules are in need of attention, that's probably best dealt with directly with site admin rather than in the forum proper.
