Whatever happened to VTV magazine?

For a brief period WHF produced a A/V magazine that my memory is telling me was called V.TV in the mid-to-late 90's. Back then it had some fierce competitors and don't think it lasted long. I remember collecting half a dozen issues and it was a good read.

Does anyone from WHFS&V recall why it never really took off?

I think just the lack of sales did for it, and the decision to concentrate on the main magazine.

Same as happened with our Home Cinema magazine in more recent times.

There seems to be very little market for magazines solely covering home cinema these days...

I remember it well, as I was the Editor at the time! Sadly it struggled to survive on its own in a competitive market, so we rolled it into what was (then) What Hi-Fi? and renamed the magazine What Hi-Fi? Sound and Vision to reflect its increasing coverage of all things home cinema.
