I've just seen this, Charlie...how lovely to see you. Well. BBB is now The Transmitter Down and he's a popular dj on a local radio show, playing weird and even weirder music for a group of weird people. Actually, he plays very interesting stuff and tries to sound like a laconic John Peel; he's also become a leading internet political commentator, but at least he's on the right side...well, not the side of 'The Right', but the other one. I just poddle on, playing records in between the constant struggle to get a life.We speak about you regularly and some of it is quite nice. I hope you're well and yoo're going to come back and post on here a bit more regularly. See you soon. Oh, The Transmitter Down suggested or maybe I did that we must get together and have, erm, a sort of vinyl session kind of thing. Be rather nice. Let us know how you are, old boy. Best wishes.

It's good to hear from you all.

I've missed a few developments: so where can TD's show be listened to and whereabouts would I find his political commentary?

Things marginally more settled at my end. I was commissioned to write a new play by some actors, and all that has taken me far and wide (well, London & Lakes, mostly) - it's had a few outings regionally, with more to come prior to it's re-configuration as a radio drama. For those interested, it's a three hander about a highly principled auteur trying to overcome his reservations about writing something commercially appealing. A comedy, in essence. Luckily, the actors are pretty good and they tolerate my flights of fancy and the rest. And even, on occasion, proffer cash!)

Music: lots. Some of it connected to the play and some my usual on going stuff. Will list some next time.

Yes, I'm up for a vinyl session meet up sometime. Most def.
