Tracked any Hovercraft records down yet?

I'm going into Jumbo on Saturday or Sunday for that very purpose, amongst a few other possible purchases. Over the phone they said they'd track them down for me.

As previously mentioned, I really liked the smattering of You Tube clips. Are your vinyl versions good ones?

I managed to get a brand new copy of Experiment Below, and it sounded better than my old cd copy. The Akathisia record played great too, though I only played one side of one of the records. The sleeve is far from perfect, but to be fair, the seller did say VG+ for both the record and sleeve, and the vinly looks excellent +.

Try and get the at least excellent, as there are quieter patches to the music. Mute Bank still have a brand new copy of Experiment Below as far as I know.

Thanks for that.

I'll see how it goes with the one from Mute and I'll also ask the Jumbo guys to source the other LP.

Did you say there were only two LPs, plus other collaborative projects?

It knows more than me.

Interesting stuff.

Looking forward to a proper session with the vinyl LP soon.

Bought quite a few albums over recent weeks, and will probably go to a record fair tomorrow, but I can't f*cking play them.

Intrigued by the Luke Haines LP, what's it like? I've got bought a fair bit of his stuff down the years, not this, as yet.

Lisitening to:

Planet Waves - Dylan

Bootleg Series 1-3 - Dylan

Transformer - Lou Reed

At War With The Mystics - The Flaming Lips

The Magical Mystery Tour - The Beatles
