Like many others, I've been listening to Random Access Memories by Daft Punk. Beautifully recorded, great pressing that has zero pops & clicks straight out of sleeve, lovely packaging and most important of all, the music is just fantastic. I knew it was good as I listened to it several times on Spotify last week, but the vinyl release just sounds so good.

+1

There have been complaints about the CD being compressed..... no surprise there then!

I must say I feel a bit smug when you compare the DR of the vinyl realease to the CD - absolutely no compression on the vinyl as expected!

Sounds very smooth to me - superb!

I never, ever tire of this LP. Fantastic production, brilliant musicians, and a rhythm section (Sly & Robbie) to die for.

I'm normally not someone who claims that vinyl is SO much better than CD, but in this instance the vinyl outstrips my CD quite considerably.
