Yes - 90125

fook me it sounds bloody good especially Changes

If you like that, you should try and find the live version on the album 90125 - The Solos. The version of Changes on that is just epic.

While still obviously compressed, the breadth of the sound on this is way better than either the MP3 that came free with it or the version on Spotify. Plus the Sleeve and 180g vinyl are top quality, no pops or crackles to be heard.

i hope you survve the drought!

I unearthed these two old faves from the 80s:-

Paul Simon - Heart and Bones

Sade - Diamond Life

Had forgotten about Ms Adu until another mag gave them a write up recently. Still sounds fab, and appears to be AAA, i.e. no digits anywhere, unlike Mr Simon's.

Thanks for the thought.

I'm only a few days in to this non-vinyl regime and it's not good. Listening to digital through my headphones isn't too enjoyable.

Roll on June, July or whenever my house re-build is done!

I first listened to this LP as a student in the 1960's when it was first released on a record player. I was hooked. i always considered that this recording is a must in any Jazz collection. I bought a Cd later on but still hankered for the vinyl. Finally last month i tracked one down in its original sleeve format. Now i listen to it in my proper HiFi system through B&W speakers. Simply great.
