Your letterbox must be a lot wider than mine.

sad to report that I must have a poor pressing of Adele - 19 or are they all like it? Sounds distorted around her voice as though she has a lisp!

Chris Rea - Road to Hell 1989 issue near mint has to one the best sounding lps i have can see it getting a lot of plays this summer.

Joe bonamass - black rock i have 3 of joes vinyl albums even thou it sounds fairly good sq wise the album is quite poor and not growing on me.

A mammoth session last night. One last blast before the whole system goes into storage for a few weeks.

Kiss - The Age Of Chance

Kiss - Prince

In Rainbows - Radiohead

Morrissey, You Are The Quarry

The Red Shoes - Kate Bush

The Soft Bulletin - The Flaming Lips

True Stories - Talking Heads

Darklands - JAMC

Countdown To Ecstacy - Steely Dan

For a few truly awful seconds then Charlie, I thought you'd been listening to the band Kiss.

I can't explain in words how relieved I am.

I had fully intended making a trip into Manchester to support National Record Day, but something more urgent cropped up so stayed at home instead.

I really wanted to get down to my local record store today and get the Kate Bush picture disc (amongst others) but for some reason I just couldn't face that heaving mass of people I saw hanging around outside and to later find out that one of the people at the front of the queue had a list as long as your arm........wonder where they were going to end up or am I being cynical? :?

Judie Tzuke - Portfolio

This has to one of the best sounding albums ever in terms of SQ - excellent production too!

Roxy Music - Avalon

Depeche Mode - Delta Machine

Latin Quarter - Modern Times

Having gone to RSD at Resident Records in Brighton I am currently playing these:

House of Love - A baby got back on its feet (7")

British Sea Power - Facts Are Right (7")

Paul Weller - Flame Out! (7")

Peace - California Daze (7")

Public Service Broadcasting - Signal 30 (7")

Foals - My Number (7")

Kate Bush - Running Up That Hill (10" picture disc)

Toy/The Horrors (12" remixes)

The Beta Band - Champion Versions ep

The Beta Band - The Patty Patty Sound ep

The Beta Band - Los Amigos Del Beta Bandidos ep

Echo and the Bunnymen - Crocodiles (180g red vinyl)

Reservoir Dogs - OST (various coloured vinyl, I must have Mr Pink!)

Yes I was one of those with a list as long as my arm but none of these will end up on fleabay. I didn't go early but still had an hour queue, missed out on some.

Also playing Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Mosquito

The golden age of Bix Beiderbecke

Lindisfarne Finest Hour

The Eric Burden Band Sun Secrets

Geno Washington and the Ram Jam Band Sifters, Shifters, Finger Clicking Mamas

The Who A Quick One mono

well Im on my 5/6th listen of Depeche Mode - Delta Machine!

The soundscape on this album is haunting, the production is superb and sounds flawless on my RP3 - yes I love it!

Why cant more albums evoke such emotion!

It is a fantastic album isn't it? Just sounds so good.

My Rega is currently in dry dock awaiting a new Elys2 cartridge, so I'm saving my new copy of Delta Machine and satisfying myself with listening to it on Spotify at the moment. Can't wait to get the old girl back as I've missed my vinyl evenings!!
