what track force is req for ortofon om5e fitted with stylus 10 ??

i am a little confused about tracking force , the om5e cartridge has a tracking force 1.75 with the 5e stylus . but the stylus 10 has a recommended 1.5 tracking force ?? i recently upgraded to the stylus 10 after accident with the 5e . should i use the cartridge tracking weight or the stylus ??

TBO the tracking forces given should only be used as a starting point and then fine tuned by ear. I would start at the lower and work you way upwards until you are happy with the sound.

Use the specs for the OM10. The cartridge suspension, which is effectively that of the cantilever of the needle, determins the settings. In other words stick to 1.5.
