KEF - T205 surround speaker system, awaiting delivery time confirmation. " don't like boxes "

Pioneer VSX - LX53 possible amplifier choice , is readily available.

Please advise :

on an alternative for the KEF - T surround speaker system. " in case of long delivery time "

is the Pioneer amp. a good choice with regard to the KEF - T205 or is there a less expensive but good alternative.

Your best option is to audition different amps.

I would recommend you to listen to the Denon 3311, Yamaha RX-V2067 & Onkyo TX-NR808 apart from the Pioneer.

The T205 set should be available by the end of next week, and the T305 just before the end of the month.

As BigBoss mentions, the SoundFrames will be a good alternative. They're quite a bit bigger than the KEF's, so seeing them in the flesh would be a good idea. I've not had a chance to try the SoundFrames out yet though.
