What disc should i use in panasonic dmr-ex77

A nice simple one for you! I have just bought a panasonic DMR-EX77 and am unsure of what sort of blank discs to get. Seem to have a choice of

DVD-RAM, DVD-R, DVD-R DL, DVD-RW, +R, +R DL, +RW,

Is all i intend to do is copy to disc and keep it (films etc, maybe from the HDD) or maybe want to re-write the disc (very infrequently). Basically not too sure so any advise would be appreciated.

I have used panasonic equipment for years from vcr to dvd/hdd i have three machines running at the moment including the dmr-ex77, personally i would suggest using dvd-ram for your rewritable format (superior to dvd-rw - IMHO) and dvd-r for write once applications, buy a decent brand, erm even panasonic's own are good and you wont go far wrong.
