Very English....syche/old English folk with a midevil feel to the sound.yes it's a bit strange but I quite like it.lol.

Hay Mac having a listen to the Siv Jacobsen nordic mellow album.....very much up my street.I came across it on qobuuz today and thinking...somebody's mentioned that lately....going back a page on here and it was their recommended by yourself.

I really liked her mini album The Lingering, but this is sublime.

Give Tina Bridgman a whirl too, you might like it... she's sending me a copy of Halcien Breeze to review.

Right Away,Great Captain!

The church of the good thief

Andy Hull's (Manchester Orchestra)third and final installment of his trilogy solo side project from 2012 brings together some finely crafted songs.that I think a few on the forum might enjoy.

Just had a flick through all three albums, musically it hooked me straight away, but they're recordings that deserves proper listening, will do later.

Have just realised......someone mentioned Sussane Sundfor some threads ago and I bought her album and I've been thinking her voice sounded familiar on listening.... I realised she is the voice of a song I've loved for a while.....the title song from the Oblivion soundtrack with m83.

I've liked Eric Bibb for a long time now but wasn't familiar with this album from the early 90's. When WHF featured it in their list of "audiophile" recordings I thought I'd take a punt and bought the CD for relative peanuts off Ebay. I'm glad I did, it's lovely..

The National's new album, very underwhelming on my first listen but i played it on repeat today and what a grower it is

I've got quite a few National albums, but on first listen I wasn't keen on this new one, I will give it another listen though.
