Mmmn...I was initially disappointed when this was released but on a re-visit today I`ve changed my mind somewhat. Not bad at all. Standout track - `February Song`.
If you're interested and haven't seen it before, BBC 4 are showing the John Martyn 2004 documentary "Johnny Too Bad" at 23.35pm tonight. Well worth it, especially the early stuff with Danny Thompson. Fantastic.
Painbob, you appear to have impeccible taste just like me 😉
Meanwhile, I've been playing a couple of new CD's tonight..
Unbelievably this is the first time I've heard this album in full. Obviously heard Trampled Underfoot and Kashmir loads of times but the rest of the album is fresh to me. First thing that struck me immediately was the astonishing drumwork of Bonham on this album. Stunning.
