Haven't posted on here for a long time but felt I had to after listening to Peter Gabriels wonderful 'New Blood' album...the best thing I've heard in ages...if you like his stuff do yourself a favour and give it a go...good system tester too...

New blood by peter gabriel - superb album! Absolutely must listen.
Also reminiscing with 'deloused in the comatorium' by the mars volta.. They got it so right with that one!
Can't forget Frank Zappa, whose music ends up being played pretty much every day on my system (providing the wife isn't around to hear it!) Listening to ' you can't do that on stage anymore, volume 6' a lot at the moment.

She's a chip off both of them but not fully rounded yet as an artist. It's a very good debut album though and it will get played a lot here, especially with RT playing guitar on a couple of the tracks.

Impossible to pidgeon hole into genre, style etc. A bit of swing, vaudeville, blues, singer songwriter angst, happy, sad you name it this lady does it all.

She's been a big favourite of mine ever since I saw her supporting Richard Thompson a few years ago. She's definitely got the feelgood factor live.
