brittondave:

I can point you in the direction of my friends band. The Sine Star Project and there album Blue Born Earth Boy.

It's on Spotify and for me the stand out tracks are Open your eyes, Strange Girl, Wolf River, Down Down,

This is brilliant brittondave. I agree with your comparison to Muse and would add others such as Mansun and The Pineapple Thief. The vocals remind me of David Sylvian and his solo work. It is symphonic space prog................

The Advisory Circle - Mind how you go (Revised Edition)

Very nice if you like things like Boards of Canada, BBC Radiophonics and the music from 1970's children's TV & Public Information Films.

Raw as F**k by The Freestylers, on the PC sound system- SB X-Fi Extreme/Denon AVR-3200/Yamaha NSE300.

Deep bass, catchy tunes and a good dollop of production quality to boot. Seek out this album, and also We Rock Hard- they're absolute perfection- I've heard them both a million times and I've never tired of them.

Ben Lamdin aka Nostalgia 77 has a new LP out as Skeletons called Smile - sort of a new take on afro-funk type of thing. Given all the Tru Thoughts things you've listened to in the last day or two it might be worth checking, as would his Impossible Ark label generally.

My fave N77 LPs are Borderlands & Everything Under the Sun.
