I'm always listening to my soul/funk/electro, but a couple of tunes that have been getting a lot of play again are:

Reel People featuring the guys from Incognito - Amazing. Which it is, and for me the best funk release of the last decade.

And Lisa Shaw, notably the track 'Like I Want To', which I never tire of listening to. 🙂

Welcome to the future of music DJ.

Investigating music from Norway. Virus are a goth metal band with monotone vocals and heavy riffs. I cannot think of a comparison to make, they have quite a unique sound. Wobbler are a mix of accoustic and heavy rock with a Jon Lord/Keith Emerson style power keyboard. Genesis meets ELP.

Gate. Female vocals sung in Norwegian and the style is folk/rock/anthemic/indie, basically a real mix. It is an exciting listen, recommended.

I have the Kandy(CDP) and a Mac Mini both connected via optical cable to the DAC, which also act's as a Pre-amp for the Dyn's.
