Wharfedale Xarus 5000 speakers

Anybody know anything about Wharfedale Xarus 5000 Floor Standing Speakers? Are they any good? Would they be suitable for fronts on a 7.1 setup? I have seen them for £150.

I'd be tempted to find matching B&W pair for better tonal integration and sell the pair of Eggs.

Alternatively, do any of the B&W floorstanders use the drive units you're using already?

The Wharfedale looks to be a party animal and the few comments I've seen seem to imply they're quite good. I'd be worried about buying cheap speakers incorporating so many drive units into the budget. 3 way crossovers are difficult to get right too. The cabinet size is huge 1080mm tall, there's scope for massive panel resonances.

My hunch is they'll be loud, deep and brash, great for parties every night. I think you'll lose the speed and detail of the B&W fronts though.
