Having trouble quoting on the phone but someone mentioned a radio programme up thread. I can only think of the Freak Zone but that's on Sunday. Great programme BTW - has cost me a fortune over the years.

Speaking of the FZ, that's where I first heard Magma, who are probably my favourite band now and probably qualify as being pretty weird in most people's eyes.

Les Claypool's Carl Thompson 6-String Fretless Rainbow Bass in this "Tommy The Cat"-clip could be considered weird, no? Not for amateurs... (EDIT: the axe, I mean, not the music... Well, maybe the music too...)
